KARTIK Aaryan has sent a message to his fans in South Africa ahead of the Christmas Day release of his movie Tu Meri Main Tera Main Tera Tu Meri, co-starring Ananya Panday, via Avalon Group CEO AB Moosa.
Moosa met Aaryan at one of the side events at the Red Sea International Film Festival in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, last week. He was the only South African invited by Fahad Ahmed Khan Suri, Consul General of India to Jeddah, to the"India Night Cultural Evening at Lazurde Ballroom, Park Hyatt Hotel, Jeddah.
“I have heard so much about how South African fans love Bollywood generally and more specifically my movies such as Satyaprem Ki Katha and Pati Patni Aur Woh, which also featured Ananya and Bhumi Pednekar. I send all my love to our fans there and hope that they will reciprocate the love by watching our latest release. It was great working in this movie alongside such talented veterans as Jackie Shroff and Neena Gupta, from whom Ananya and I learnt so much as well, and I’m sure that fans in South Africa are going to enjoy this movie. Wishing all South Africans a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year,” Aaryan shared with Moosa.
Moosa said participation at the Red Sea Festival provided an opportunity to further cement the relationships that he had built over many years with major production houses in Bollywood and Hollywood.
Avalon continues to bring South Africans films from there as the only Bollywood distributor in the country.
“We have firm faith in the future of cinema as a whole and in ensuring that Bollywood movie lovers get to see the best from India at our CineCentre cinemas at Suncoast in Durban, Killarney and Northgate in Johannesburg, Midlands in Pietermaritzburg and Grandwest in Cape Town; as well as the other cinema chains in the country, who we are always glad to supply when they decide to take any titles that we bring in,” Moosa said.
