We all love seeing our favourite movie star or personality. Here are some hotels in SA and Nambia that have had their fair share of popular guests.

This hotel has seen a host of famous faces gracing its corridors. Opening it's doors for the first time in 1964, The Beverly Hills Hotel has grown into a hotel that's a home away from home for the rich and famous. It has 89 rooms, views of the ocean to die for and amenities and services to make a visitor's stay more comfortable such as a fitness centre, heated pool, complimentary valet services upon arrival, two onsite restaurants and access to the hotel’s DVD library, and a range of daily luxurious poolside massage treatments by experienced therapists. It was also voted one of the best hotels in  TripAdvisor's Travellers' Choice in the hotel section for 2017.

Rated five stars by guests to the hotel, Mount Nelson is presented as the epitome of style and grace, and it is. Not one to be outdone, the hotel also gives guests priceless views of the Table Mountain. It is also recognised as one of the spots to definitely enjoy afternoon tea at. It features amenities such as a spa, hair salon (which is currently closed for Winter), fitness center, signature boutique and a children's activity center. It also has a nine acre garden on it's premises. The hotel has three category of rooms, rooms, suites and garden cottage suites which are all stylishly decorated. As one reviewer put it, this hotel has "old world charm on steroids". 

3.   The Saxon Hotel, Sandton, Gauteng 

This award winning boutique hotel is located in what is known as Africa's richest square mile, Sandton. It i oppulent and consists of of suites and stand alone villas. You can choose between the luxury suites, presidential suites, the Nelson Mandela Platinum Suite,  villa luxury suites and on of the three stand alone villas. There is also an award winning restaurant onsite at the hotel, which promises magnificent culinary experiences.
