American music producer Jermaine Dupri is currently in Mzansi, enjoying every moment of his visit.

The legendary songwriter recently took to Instagram to share glimpses of his time in South Africa with fans and followers.

Dupri's trip coincided with performances by DVSN, the R&B duo signed to his label, So So Def.

After supporting the duo behind the scenes in Johannesburg, Dupri embraced the local culture by exploring the vibrant township of Soweto.

He shared photos from his visits to significant sites, including Vilakazi Street, the Hector Pietersen Memorial, and Mandela House.

A Soweto township tour offers a profound immersion into South Africa's rich history, culture and resilience.

It highlights the area's pivotal role in the anti-apartheid struggle while showcasing the vibrant local life through music, art, food, and heritage sites.

Netizens welcomed Dupri's presence in South Africa, commenting on his Instagram posts.

DVSN recently headlined the "Once Upon A Time In Joburg" festival on December 7 at Marks Park in Johannesburg. They are also scheduled to perform in Cape Town on December 10 at The Alley in Paarden Eiland for the "Once Upon A Time in Cape Town" event.

Dupri expressed his happiness at the success of DVSN, who performed to a sold-out crowd of 10,000 people in Johannesburg.

He shared, “After working with DVSN on their last album, attending their shows, and seeing how much their fans love them, I knew I had to sign them when they became free agents. They are my first signing at So So Def/Hybe.”
