A Parktown Boys’ High School learner will benefit from a new three-year educational bursary aimed at supporting academic growth and long-term opportunity.
The bursary, introduced as part of an expanded partnership between Adreach Impact Brand Solutions and Parktown Boys’ High School, marks a shift from sports-focused support to direct investment in education.
The initiative, known as The Reach Higher Bursary, will be awarded to a deserving student and is intended to support holistic development, leadership and community upliftment.
Since 2023, the partnership has contributed to the school through rugby programme funding, facility upgrades and tour sponsorships. The introduction of the bursary now places a stronger emphasis on academic support and individual learner development.
Joe Kotwal, CEO of the Parktown Boys Foundation, said the impact of the partnership has already been significant.
“Adreach’s partnership has been transformative for Parktown Boys’ High School. From bolstering our rugby programme and upgrading facilities to now investing directly in a student’s academic future through The Reach Higher Bursary, their support truly embodies the spirit of giving back. We are immensely grateful for their ongoing commitment and look forward to a continued relationship that will change many young lives for the better.”
The bursary is expected to provide sustained support over three years, offering stability and opportunity to a learner who may otherwise face financial barriers to education.
Zuza Mbatha, CEO of Adreach Impact Brand Solutions, said the initiative reflects a broader commitment to youth development.
“At Adreach, we believe in creating opportunities that extend beyond advertising. Our partnership with Parktown Boys’ High School aligns perfectly with our values of community upliftment and long-term impact. We are excited to ‘Reach Higher’ together and support the next generation of leaders.”
The partnership between the two organisations is expected to continue, with a shared focus on initiatives that support learners and contribute to meaningful, long-term outcomes within the school community.
